The Plan

  1. Bugs and Binary

    • Purpose: A public diary for sharing my “learn in public” journey—documenting progress, experiments, and lessons in AEC tech and programming.
    • Content will include project updates, coding experiments, and workflow automation tips.
    • This platform is foundational to establish credibility and share expertise, primarily on LinkedIn.
  2. LinkedIn Strategy

    • Focus Areas: AEC tech innovation, experimentation, and thought leadership.
    • Content Types: Guides, tutorials, tips, breakthroughs, learn-in-public posts, and progress updates.
    • Goal: Become a subject matter expert and grow Bugs and Binary into the go-to resource for AEC tech professionals.
    • Long-Term Vision: Once Bugs and Binary gains traction, introduce the Time Traveler Bug newsletter in Q3 2025. This will share tech stories from history and their relevance to today.
    • Experiment with innovative tools, workflows, and solutions to stay at the forefront of AEC tech.
  3. Twitter Strategy

    • Purpose: A casual, open space to document my transition into tech—treating it like a public journal.
    • Content Types: Personal stories, milestones, tech experiments, and reflections on learning.
    • From Today: Share on-and-off updates about my journey and small lessons.
    • Q3 2025: Ramp up efforts to share milestones in building SaaS applications, coding achievements, and my tech journey.
    • Use Twitter to connect with tech communities and transition into storytelling while leaving AEC behind gradually.
  4. Long-Term Focus

    • Transition fully into tech, leaving AEC design work behind but occasionally touching on AEC tech for context.
    • Deep primary work in the field of AEC Tech, with occasional side projects to be inspired and appreciative of tech.
    • Build a foundation in programming and establish myself as a tech professional through consistent content creation.

Q3 2025 Goals:

  • Launch the Time Traveler Bug newsletter on LinkedIn, focusing on tech stories with historical insights.
  • Expand my Twitter content to include achievements in SaaS development, showcasing a deeper transition into tech blogging and storytelling.
  • Grow Bugs and Binary to lead in AEC tech content.
  • Establish credibility as a tech storyteller with the Time Traveler Bug.
  • Transition into pure tech blogging and programming, leveraging my AEC roots for unique perspectives.
  • Use LinkedIn to excel professionally and Twitter for personal growth and community building.

By focusing on experimentation, public learning, and consistent content creation, I’ll transition into a tech-focused role while building platforms that inspire and educate others.
